The Taste of Memory

“The Taste of Memory” is a collection of three short comic stories where memory and food play crucial roles, based on Ming Yue’s experiences in China and Japan. Yue completed this book during her Master’s study at LUCA School of Arts in Belgium. There are 4 chapters in the whole book.
Each story intricately weaves food into diverse memories, whether dealing with natural disasters, political landscapes, or pandemics. The complex relationship between the protagonist, Ming, and her mother unfolds through shared experiences with food. Read the full book here.
